The Australian Government has invested $560 million and the NSW Government $140 million to build the Singleton Bypass. The eight kilometre bypass will improve travel times, freight efficiency and safety for local and interstate motorists. The Singleton Bypass is the largest road infrastructure investment in Singleton's history. Acciona Construction Australia Pty Ltd was awarded a design and construction contract in November 2023 and construction commenced in mid-June 2024. The project is expected to be completed by late 2026.
