ACCIONA has been chosen by Pilbara Ports to deliver the design and construction of two land-backed wharves as part of this vital infrastructure project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

ACCIONA has been chosen by Pilbara Ports to deliver the design and construction of two land-backed wharves as part of this vital infrastructure project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

The two new wharves will facilitate the export of critical minerals, including lithium and copper concentrates, the import of renewable energy infrastructure such as wind turbines and blades, and support the rapid growth of direct shipping services to the Pilbara.

ACCIONA will bring their extensive global and local experience to the delivery of this project having designed and built close to 60 ports around the world.

ACCIONA’s approach is not just to ensure a successful delivery of the project but to work with the local community to ensure there is a positive impact on society beyond the life of the project.
